      Why Plant Santolina?

Santolina is a wonderful Old World herb native to the Mediterranean region, with aromatic evergreen foliage and small button-like flowers. If you have success growing Lavender, your garden should be a good place to grow Santolina, also known as Lavender Cotton. It prefers sandy, rocky, lean soils, but is adaptable as long as it’s planted in a well-drained, sunny site. Resinous foliage is deer and rabbit resistant, and highly resistant to pests. Santolina will add form and texture to spruce up rock gardens, xeriscapes, and garden borders.
